#1 Appropriate Attire

Appropriate attire is necessary for your safety. No open toe or heeled shoes are permitted on the shooting range.

We require safety glasses and ear protection to be worn at all times in the shooting range. Ear protection must be worn over the ears.

#4 rental gun policy

If you are going to rent a firearm from Ozark please note we cannot rent to a single shooter. You will need to have another person with you or your own personal firearm on the shooting range in order to rent one from us. You must have a valid government state ID or passport with you as it is needed to rent a firearm.

#5 Firearm and Ammo Review

If you are bringing your own ammunition and firearm to the shooting range, it must meet Ozark’s safety specifications before being allowed on the range. For any questions about this please contact us.

Always keep firearm point in a safe direction

  • Must be 21 or older to use the shooting range unaccompanied.
  • Minors 14-20 years old must be accompanied and supervised (on the same lane) by a parent or legal guardian.
  • All shooters 18 or older must possess a valid Government issued photo ID or US passport
  • Must be 18 or older to rent a long gun.
  • Must be 21 or older to rent a handgun.
  • Guests must be at least 21 years old to purchase handgun ammunition
  • Case and uncase all firearms at the firing lane bench.
  • Always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction and your finger off the trigger.
  • At the shooting stall, always keep the muzzle pointed down range.
  • Always make sure the action is open and magazine is removed before receiving or handling a firearm.
  • Drawing from the holster is not permitted on the shooting range.
  • Never move ahead of the firing lane.
  • Hearing and eye protection are required at all times. Ear protection must be worn over the ears.

  • Know that the firearm and ammunition are compatible. If unsure, ask!
  • No more than two people are permitted per shooting stall.
  • You will be fined for hitting anything other than the proper target.

  • No food, drinks or tobacco products are permitted on the range.
  • Only lead core bullets are permitted on the range. no steel core, incendiary, tracer, exploding, or tipped ammunition of any kind is permitted on the premises.
  • No outside firearms instruction/training classes are permitted. All training must be conducted by a certified Ozark Sportsman instructor.
  • Never carry a loaded firearm behind the safety line or out of the range.
  • Management will ask you to leave without refund if range rules are broken.
